Psytechnics Receives Internet Telephony Product of the Year Award

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

Psytechnics' Service Desk Manager recently received TMC's Internet Telephony Magazine 2009 Product of the Year Award. Launched in November of last year, Service Desk Manager is now fully incorporated into Psytechnics' latest release of Experience Manager 5

Service Desk Manager enables level one service desk staff to quickly and easily identify and acknowledge IP voice or video call and service quality incidents, providing the necessary data to facilitate escalation to the right support group for immediate, right first time resolution. Service Desk Manager enables service desk staff to work more efficiently by putting relevant, user based, call performance data at their fingertips. This enables them to operate proactively rather than purely reactively, initiating corrective actions and maintaining service quality before IT users notice that service levels may be degrading.

Rich Tehrani, CEO of TMC, commented that, "Internet Telephony is proud to grant Psytechnics a 2009 Product of the Year Award for their Service Desk Manager. Psytechnics has proven its commitment to quality and excellence while addressing real needs in the marketplace.  We're happy to recognize and honor Psytechnics for their development of IP communications technology. We look forward to more innovative solutions from them in the future."

We feel honored to have received this award and appreciate all the hard work from everyone here at Psytechnics!

Another Successful Event at VoiceCon Orlando 2010

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

Psytechnics had another successful event last week at VoiceCon Orlando 2010, where among all the interesting discussions, keynotes, and panels, we met some great people and even managed to squeeze in a little fun along the way.  Many people commented that the floor seemed more alive this year.  Blair Pleasant of UC Strategies, who we had the pleasure of meeting, noted that the energy was back and all "the vendors and exhibitors [she] spoke with raved about the floor traffic, while the session rooms were packed."

During the show, Phil Gray, head of professional services at Psytechnics, spoke with Doug Green for a podcast on Telecom Reseller.  You can hear the excitement of the exhibition hall as Phil discusses the company and our latest product announcement, Experience Manager 5 with Service Desk, which Chad Berndston also featured on a VoiceCon product slideshow on ChannelWeb.

Among all the company product announcements at this year's show was an announcement from VoiceCon itself.  From this point forward, the show will no longer be called VoiceCon, but Enterprise Connect, with the tagline, "Communications Transforming Business."  The name change is an attempt to reflect the broader vision of enterprise communications, whereas the "voice" in VoiceCon may have become too limiting.  More information on this decision can be found here, and we'd be interested in hearing your thoughts, but, for now, we look forward to next year and the changes and improvements Enterprise Connect will bring.

Announcing Experience Manager 5 with Service Desk!

Today, at VoiceCon Orlando 2010, we are announcing the release of Experience Manager 5 with Service Desk.  This product evolution is the most comprehensive UC service management solution available on today's market, delivering significant and tangible business benefits for enterprise and service provider IT and operations teams.

Experience Manager 5 with Service Desk delivers trusted, independent end-user quality of experience (QoE) visibility for real-time unified communications (UC) and collaboration in a simplified, actionable form to IT and operations teams.  It supports UC in the broadest sense, covering multiple technologies, multiple vendors, as well as the range of communications media and access devices, enabling IT to support service delivery end-to-end from one application, while ensuring successful deployments and customer confidence.

"Psytechnics Experience Manager 5 is simply a breakthrough in managing the users' telepresence, video, VoIP or contact center communications experience," said Peter Brockmann, President of Brockmann & Company. "It's customizable and attractive web GUI makes anticipating, identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting real-time service defects faster, simpler, and easier than ever before. The IT help desk professional can even view specific voice or video session performance attributes while users are on the phone, before issuing a trouble ticket. Quality of Experience is the trigger for the next wave of service differentiation for managed service providers, carriers, and enterprises alike. Psytechnics' Experience Manager 5 is a powerful advantage."

Hitting the Road for VoiceCon Orlando 2010

  | Share on Twitter Twitter | Share on Facebook Facebook |  Share on LinkedIn LinkedIn

Well our bags are packed and we're all looking forward to hitting the road for VoiceCon Orlando 2010 where we'll be demoing Experience Manager 5 with Service Desk at booth #522, which will be officially launched during the show.

Traditional approaches to network and application management will not suffice with today's multi-service, multi-device enterprise communications and collaboration architecture.  It's essential for enterprises and service providers to go beyond this, understanding and managing the user's experience to help drive customer satisfaction and the adoption of unified communications (UC) as a whole, in even the most complex, multi-vendor environments.  And this is precisely what Psytechnics' latest product upgrade addresses with its proactive management capabilities of both application- and network-based threats.

Dr. Mike Hollier, CTO, Psytechnics, will also be an active participant at this year's show, speaking on two panels on Wednesday, March 24th:

It's sure to be a great show and if you're attending, be sure to stop by our booth (#522) to say hello and meet the team.   See you there!
